The Department of Transitional Assistance’s (DTA) and The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security’s (EOTSS) shared goal is to improve the constituents’ interactions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts when they need food assistance.

EOTSS’s Digital Services team collaborated with DTA on an 8-week research project from November to December 2018 to assess the near-term and long-term opportunities to improve the user experience and user feedback loops for the DTA Connect web application.
As the team’s designer, I’ve had the opportunity to work on the redesign of DTA Connect based on the new Mass.gov’s Mayflower brand guidelines and perform user research on both versions.
